Workshops and Off-Sites

Our workshops are “ready to go" curriculum-based experiences that have proven effective for many hundreds of prior participants. Our off-sites are customized, designed to meet your specific needs, and they usually contain select sections of our curriculum.

Give Your Team a Chance to Step Away and Learn

Leading Edge Teams provides workshops as part of our curriculum or custom off-site opportunities to allow your team to gain new perspectives as they absorb critical training that will help them collaborate and take ownership of their roles. Your team may be ready for an off-site experience if...

  • Your team is feeling overwhelmed and is dealing with productivity issues.
  • They have difficulty with delegation, decision-making, and problem-solving among themselves.
  • They are too dependent on you and seem to lack motivation to take ownership of certain responsibilities.
  • You've tried to incentivize and encourage them, but nothing seems to be working.

We understand the key problems that teams face, and we're excited to help them break free from these challenges and work together to achieve incredible goals!

Our Objectives During This Experience

Workshops are part of our training process and incorporate the Leading Edge Teams curriculum, but objectives for an off-site may be customized to your team's specific challenges.

We generally take an approach that covers essential leadership and teamwork behaviors, such as decision-making, communication, problem-solving, coordination, agreements, and organizational infrastructure. We'll focus on these three categories:

  1. Self-Leadership
  2. Agreements
  3. Effective Team Meetings

Here's what that looks like...

Workshop Objectives in Action

Self-Leadership

  • How human performance really works
  • How to identify emotional reactivity in oneself and others
  • Learning to pause and regulate
  • Interacting with others in Self-Leadership versus a self-protective mode

Agreements

  • The ACE Agreement framework: How agreements work and where responsibility lies
  • The nature of delegation and reverse delegation
  • Proactively raising issues when things change or agreements can't be met

Effective Team Meetings

  • The top 5 meeting fails
  • 5-star agendas (from which you'll never go back)
  • How to reset meeting expectations with your teams
  • Meeting attendance, coaching, and implementation support

We’re all working together much better, more efficiently, and we’re having a lot more fun. And by the way, we’ve had serious growth in the business (in sales and profits). Simply put… my team and I are big fans of Annie and Leading Edge Teams.

We had Annie Hyman Pratt present to our tribe with her insights into leadership and how businesses need to build cross functional leadership from within. Her deep knowledge and experience simplified and clarified what leaders need to do to fill the leadership gap in their organizations right now. When it comes to building teams and getting them to take ownership of their roles, Annie's models and methodologies are amazing.
